Which is worth re-reading. Give my love to the flying monkeys! I'm rooting for Jim Webb, not only for the Stokes connection [moving forward, the aura of glamour we would lend to the ticket goes without saying. It is what it is] but because of the military connection and geographical advantage. Plus, I think the fact that he's conservative will get us votes. The Hilary thing -- she's a brilliant and I hear funny woman, but God, people love to hate her. I agree with Jimmy Carter: There are some folks who won't vote for him no matter what, and some who won't vote for her no matter what, and Hilary as VP might be the worst of both worlds. Make her health care czar or whatever she wants.
